Hospital Representative - Endocrinology Contract

Company: Working on behalf of an European pharmaceutical group who employ over 4,000 people worldwide and have more than 20 products on the market. As well as the UK, they are also established in France, Spain, Italy and Germany and outside of Europe in Asia and North America. Key therapeutic areas area oncology, endocrinology and neuromuscular disorders.

Role: We are currently looking for Hospital/ PCT Specialist to promote their endocrinology product to key customers across Cambridge/ Norfolk. You will identify and understand NHS processes for managing the entry of new products or indications and how to influence these. With excellent communication skills and demonstrable evidence of a successful medical sales track record, particularly formulary success you will develop strong customer relationships/ KOLs. Customer base will include: Consultant Endocrinologists, Adult and Paediatric some Gastroenterology and/or oncology (for Neuro Endocrine Tumour treatment). This role is initially offered as a 12 month contract

Requirements: We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated Key Account Managers, Hospital Representatives or highly successful GP/Hospital Representatives with specific PCT responsibility to take their career to the next level. to work with a range of influencers within secondary care and the modern NHS. Successful candidates should have: Hold ABPI and preferably be educated to degree level or min A level equivalent (in scientific subject). Detailed level of understanding of the NHS and the sales processes within and across primary and secondary care Experience of developing key opinion leader support Achieved inclusion of products on hospital and primary care formularies/guidelines Plus endorsement by appropriate Disease Networks and Local Medical Committees Developing key opinion leader support for the assigned products Proven ability to network effectively in the modern NHS Endocrine experience ideal
