Our client is the UK subsidiary company of a leading international specialty pharmaceutical company. The parent company was originally founded in Sweden, but they now have a significant company presence in 42 countries and employing over 2,700 personnel. The UK growth has been achieved through a series of 5 acquisitions since 2002 with key therapeutic areas that include: dermatology, sexual health, analgesia, pain management and womens health.
Role:
As a Marketing Manager you will have responsibility to propose and develop marketing strategies in liaison with the UK Country Manager and relevant Marketing Centres. You will build sales and profit for the company through preparation and implementation of effective marketing plans and campaigns. This Head Office role based in Bishops Stortford will involve managing 2 Product Managers and a Marketing Assistant.
Requirements:
Candidates will be degree and ABPI qualified with excellent communication skills. A Product Manager in pharma looking to progress to a senior marketing role will be considered.
Candidates will need to demonstrate a proven track record of successful launch of branded pharmaceutical products to the UK market.
The ability to to lead projects and people to achieve business objectives and effectively manage the performance of a small team
evidence of thriving in a similar business culture (e.g. SME, fast paced, non hierarchical)
